We just got home yesterday from a 2-week trip down south to visit with both sides of the family. Lots of time was spent barefoot in the grass, and zero time was spent on the computer. It was wonderful, and Isabel had a blast. (Her name sounds adorable south of Virginia, and gains a fourth lilting syllable: Isabayel.)
I have one question. How can someone this sleepy on the trip home from the airport...
...proceed to do this to her room within ten minutes of entering it?

They are amazing forces of nature, aren't they.
I put Amelia and Joies down for bed in a (Mostly) clean room the other night. Next morning the place was burried in toys and books!
Sounds like you had a wonderful vacation. Yea! Glad to see you back here.
Ah the love affair! Being reuinited with the toys.
Don't worry. Mommy will clean them up.
Welcome home to you all! What a beautiful reunion Isabel is having. Glad to have you back in blogland.
Love.
Welcome home! I've been missing you. Glad to hear you all had fun.
Welcome back! I love the room! I do the same thing to mine, but it's usually just before I leave...
Looking forward to reading you again! xo t
Yup, they're good at that. Wait until she's a teenager and she's surrounded by clothes and makeup and teeny bopper magazines! You'll long for the days of books and toys.
Welcome home! Love the 'fourth syllable' - I may have to call her that from now on!
Welcome home. I wondered where you went. Sounds like a lovely trip. Got any good stories about it??
Glad you're back!
Hi there! Just wanted to see what's new in the wonderful world of Isabel & Kim! Looks like Isabel is having a blast in her room! Glad you are back & hope you had a fun trip!
She was just saving up all her energy for being back home! Beautiful picture, she look just like an angel. So glad you had a good time on vacation.
Isabel Pie is DARLING! Three KEY words for you that will save your sanity, "shut the door."
Isn't it great to unplug and be outdoors for awhile?
funny picture!
Great pictures ... and I love the extra syllable! When my husband (whose grandmother was from "Nuhflk") suddenly develops a southern accent as soon as we cross the Mason-Dixon line, and those syllables come along with the accent.
And I'm sorry to tell you that the whole Destructo/messiness thing seems to be genetic. One of my sons (now eleven) is Felix Unger; his brother, who is 16 months younger is Oscar Madison. My daughter, who is seven, is somewhere in the middle.... although she would like ME to clean up her room for her when it gets too messy!
Hope you had a great trip....
Love Belly Button...she's the master of her domain!
